Barcelona on Rails

Hello! We are looking for an experienced Frontend Engineer. You will have a strong computer science background with experience developing consumer products for the web. This is a full-time position (with benefits) based in our headquarters in Barcelona.

Responsibilities

You will work directly with the rest of our design and development team to maintain and implement new website features. You will have a high degree of both autonomy and responsibility for the products we produce.

Required qualifications

• 3+ years experience in web development, building consumer products.
• Command of frontend languages (HTML, CSS, jQuery) and knowledge of programming frameworks (Ruby on Rails).
• Passion for beautiful interfaces focused on user experience, built with elegant and scalable code.
• Collaboration through version control system (Do you have a github account?)
• Comfortable in a start-up environment.
• You know the web. :)

Bonus

• Here we work with Macs and Adobe Fireworks, but as long as you feel comfortable we are flexible with the tools you use.
• Experience in flash programming.
• Use and contribution to Opensource tools.
